Healthcare accessible anytime, anywhere
The goal was to build a fully-fledged mobile app in React Native to replace the original solution based primarily on webview. The new app needed to offer better performance, stability, and a significantly improved user experience. It also had to enable integration of telemedicine tools — from vital signs measurement through symptom checker to Apple Health, Google Health, and IoT device connectivity.

Telemedicine in practice: technology, data and time
We needed to integrate external healthcare SDKs, optimize handling of large volumes of health data from Apple Health and Google Health, and ensure reliable push notifications. We were also dealing with a hybrid architecture between React Native and the original webview application. Additional complications included rapidly changing requirements and a tight deadline for creating the MVP before the public product presentation.

Modern mobile foundation for digital healthcare
We progressively rewrote the application in React Native, significantly improving both performance and stability. We implemented the onboarding process, Infermedica symptom checker integration, and connection to health data from Apple Health and Google Health. We led the project iteratively with regular technical planning sessions and status meetings with the client's team. The result is a flexible platform ready for further telemedicine services development.
