Our mission

Expanding out-of-home delivery services

In today's logistics environment, a major trend is Out Of Home Delivery, which includes not only delivering packages to self-service boxes (which we contributed to) but also delivering to partner pickup locations. This trend became key for DPD, which focused on innovations to make it easier for customers to access package pickup and sending services.

challenges

Supporting the Out Of Home Delivery trend with the My Pickup app

Out Of Home Delivery includes delivering packages to self-service boxes and partner pickup locations, representing a significant trend in logistics. DPD, in support of this trend, introduced the My Pickup mobile app and Zebra devices, combining payment terminals and barcode scanners. Our task was to develop an app that maximizes the capabilities of these devices.

Solution

Innovative My Pickup mobile app for DPD pickup locations

The My Pickup mobile app simplifies the work of staff and couriers with its built-in barcode scanner, integrated payment terminal, and user-friendly UX. It allows easy pickup and sending of packages, with each package quickly scanned to verify its correctness. The innovation spread throughout the DPD network of pickup locations, including approximately 1500 locations. The app now provides a simple and effective solution for hundreds of thousands of customers every month.
